Homogenization of Attractors to Ginzburg-Landau Equations in Media with Locally Periodic Obstacles: Critical Case

In this paper the Ginzburg-Landau equation is considered in locally periodic porous medium, with rapidly oscillating terms in the equation and boundary conditions. It is proved that the trajectory attractors of this equation converge in a weak sense to the trajectory attractors of the limit Ginzburg-Landau equation with an additional potential term.

Large-scale patterns of genetic variation in a female-biased dispersing passerine: the importance of sex-based analyses.

Dispersal affects the distribution, dynamics and genetic structure of natural populations, and can be significantly different between sexes. However, literature records dealing with the dispersal of migratory birds are scarce, as migratory behaviour can notably complicate the study of dispersal. We used the barn swallow Hirundo rustica as model taxon
